Open Call rules

Mefolio Open Call is a themed call for models and photographers, run by Nitec Group Turizm Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. ("Mefolio"). Each call has its own page at mefolio.co/open-call with the theme, dates and any prize. These rules apply to every call unless that page says otherwise.

1. Who can enter

Anyone aged 18 or over with a live Mefolio page. Entry is free. One entry per person per call; you can change or withdraw it until the call closes. Mefolio staff and jury members cannot win.

2. What you send

• Up to the number of photos shown on the call page, chosen from your own Mefolio page.
• Photos must fit the theme and our content rules. No nudity, no minors, no third-party logos or artwork you have no rights to.
• Every photo must name its photographer. If you are the model, the photographer must agree to the entry; if you are the photographer, the model must agree. By entering you confirm you have that agreement and every right needed for the photos.

3. How winners are chosen

This is not a lottery. A jury chosen by Mefolio scores each entry on how well it answers the theme, its craft and its originality. The jury's decision is final. Mefolio may decide not to name a winner if no entry fits the call.

4. Results and prize

The shortlist and winners are published on the call page and in the Mefolio Journal with the names of the model and the photographer, and everyone who entered gets a notification. The prize, if any, is the one stated on the call page; it cannot be exchanged for cash unless the page says so. Winners are contacted through the email on their account; if a winner does not reply within 30 days, the prize may be given to the next entry on the shortlist.

5. Use of the photos

You keep all rights to your photos. By entering you give Mefolio a free, non-exclusive permission to show shortlisted and winning photos, always with the names of the model and photographer, on mefolio.co, in the Mefolio Journal, in Mefolio's social media and newsletters, for promoting that Open Call and Mefolio, for 24 months after the results. Entries that are not shortlisted are seen only by the jury.

6. Personal data

We use your account details and entry only to run the call and publish the results, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes and cancellation

Mefolio may change the dates of a call or cancel it if something outside our control makes it impossible to run fairly; the call page will say so. Entries that break these rules may be removed at any time. Questions: info@mefolio.co.
